Exclusive Drops at SDCC 2026
This year, Santa Monica Studio has partnered with the convention to release a handful of items tied to the franchise. First up is the SDCC Exclusive Kratos Figure - a highly detailed 7-inch statue featuring Kratos from the 2022 game God of War Ragnarök. The figure includes interchangeable weapons (Leviathan Axe and Blades of Chaos) and a weathered base depicting the nine realms. Priced at $59.99, it's a must-grab for collectors. In a tweet on July 25, the official God of War account teased the figure with a close-up shot of the axe, and the post has already racked up over 10,000 likes.
Also dropping is the Limited Edition Ragnarok Lithograph - a signed print by the game's lead concept artist. Only 500 copies are available, each numbered and framed. The artwork features Atreus standing before the World Tree, and it's priced at $49.99. If you're looking for something more wearable, the SDCC 2026 T-Shirt is available in three designs: the iconic Leviathan Axe silhouette, a minimalist “Boy” reference, and a full Ragnarok scene. The shirts are $29.99 each.
Pre-Orders for Late Summer
Not everything is on the floor. The official God of War store opened pre-orders for a Mimir Keychain (a replica of the talking head, complete with a tiny chain) and a Leviathan Axe Replica - a 1:1 scale prop that lights up and plays sound effects. Both are set to ship in September. The keychain is $14.99, while the axe replica runs $199.99. In a recent behind-the-scenes video on Instagram, the design team showed off the axe's metal detailing and weathered paint job.
Don't miss the Jotnar Edition Hardcover Art Book - a limited reprint of the book originally released with the game, now updated with concept art from the 2025 expansion Valhalla. It includes a new foreword by Eric Williams and is available for pre-order at $74.99.
Social Media Buzz
The hype is real. On July 24, the God of War Twitter account hosted a Q&A about the exclusives, and the responses were overwhelming. Fans asked about availability, quality, and future releases. The account hinted that some items might become permanent additions to the merchandise catalog if they sell well. Also, the hashtag #GodOfWarSDCC has been trending in gaming circles.
